I've always been fascinated by security and smart home technology — not the gadgets themselves, but the feeling they create: peace of mind.

The ability to check on your family while you're travelling. The comfort of knowing your home is safe while you're at work. The confidence that even when you're away, you're still connected to the people and places that matter most.

Then I experienced the reality of today's smart home world.

The "smart" home often didn't feel very smart.

Different accounts. Different platforms. Different subscriptions.

After spending hundreds — sometimes thousands — of dollars, people were still trying to figure out how to make everything work together.

At some point, I realised something:

I started with a simple vision: one connected, intelligent, easy-to-use platform that brings security, automation, and smart home technology together.

I didn't have all the answers, and I didn't have a large team. I had an idea, a problem worth solving, and the belief that there had to be a better way.

What began as one person's idea grew into a bigger mission. Every conversation, every piece of feedback, and every person who believed in this vision helped shape bwyr into what it is becoming today.
